Joel (Joey) Coots



Joel serves as the Lead Pastor of Journey Church. He and his wife Kim, along with their four daughters, came to Journey in September 2002 with a clear vision: to grow a life-giving church in a rural community that reaches far beyond its four walls.

Joel is the author of Church: How to Enter, How to Exit and has ministered internationally, sharing the message of the Kingdom of God in countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, Cuba, and various parts of Africa.

He has a passion for adventure and enjoys traveling, scuba diving, spending time on the water, and camping with family.
