Your Freedom Awaits!

Freedom is a 12 week study that ends with a conference. The curriculum focuses on equipping us to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give us. Freedom builds on the foundation of our faith, helping us to embrace God’s Word as it relates to our world view, our past, our sin, our position in Christ and our purpose in God’s kingdom.


Six area are addressed:

  • Living in the Tree of Life
  • Walking in the Spirit
  • Surrendering Fully
  • Speaking Words of Life
  • Becoming a Vessel God Can Use
  • Living as a Worshipper.


You should note that there is a time commitment involved. But, we offer multiple Freedom Groups that fit your schedule. There are also some costs involved in purchasing the workbook and attending the conference at the end of the course.

Here are the Freedom Groups for the Fall, 2026 session.

This session of Freedom will run from August to November. Here are the groups we have available:

  • Sunday - Men - Hall/Carnes/Hester

    This group will be for men only led by Danny Hall, Robert Hester and John Carnes. It will meet at Journey on Sundays at 3pm. No childcare will be available for this group.

  • Sunday - Women - Bradford/Kimbrough

    This group will be for women only led by Angie Bradford and Amanda Kimbrough. It will meet at Journey on Sundays at 3pm. No childcare will be available for this group.

  • Sunday - Women - Hall/Ferrell/Hester

    This group will be for women only led by Julie Hall and Donna Ferrell. It will meet at Journey on Sundays at 3pm. No childcare will be available for this group.

  • Sunday - Women - Poole/McCarthy/Muston

    This group will be for women only led by Starla Poole, Dratha McCarthy, and Erin Mustin. It will meet at Journey on Sundays at 3pm. No childcare will be available for this group.

  • Wednesday - Co-ed - Whitney

    This group will be a co-ed group led by Elders Stuart and Martha Whitney. It will meet at the Health In Hand Clinic, 2362 Lawrence Cove Rd, Eva, Al 35621 on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Childcare will not be available for this group.

  • Wednesday - Co-ed - Cheatham

    This group will be a co-ed led by Robert and Jesseca Cheatham. It will meet at Journey on Wednesdays at 6pm. Childcare will be available for this group.

  • Wednesday - Women - Sims/Steffen

    This group will be for women only led by Chonsea Sims and Kelsey Steffen. It will meet at Journey on Wednesdays at 6pm. Childcare will be available for this group.

  • Wednesday - Women - Rasco/Adair

    This group will be for women only led by Sheri Rasco and Serena Adair. It will meet at Journey on Wednesdays at 6pm. Childcare will be available for this group.
