If you are thinking about visiting Journey for the first time, here are a few things you should know.
Visiting any church for the very first time can be an unnerving experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What's here for my kids? What can I expect? These and many more questions are sure to come to mind before your first visit. We want to make sure your first experience with Journey Church Eva is refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your entire family. We want you to experience inspirational worship music, helpful relevant preaching and teaching, friendly people, and a place that feels like home from the minute you pull on to the parking lot.
Journey Kidz has age-specific Bible lessons, activities, and small groups for children from birth-6th grade during both our Sunday morning and Wednesday night services.
We’re dedicated to partner with parents to help every child develop a genuine love for Jesus, build their lives on the truth of God's Word, connect in meaningful friendships, and discover their purpose at a young age.
When you arrive, our team will be waiting at the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family and we can introduce you to your child’s teachers. To prepare ahead of time, you can pre-register your kids by filling out the First Time Kidz Form.
There is not a dress code at Journey Church Eva for members or guests. You will find that people are wearing anything from tee shirts and shorts to dress slacks and button down shirts. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit.
No, we didn't invite you to Journey Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope that you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel obligated to participate in the offering as a guest, especially if you are visiting from another church as your offering should be made at your home church.
